Parks and Recreation

Parks, open spaces, and recreational facilities can also be a significant factor in a community's economic development, attracting residents and businesses. Communities can create a sense of shared identity and revenue through festivals, cultural activities and sporting events. Youth sports, education programs, and community service can minimize gang-related activities.
